Windy, cool day, neither of us feeling well (sore throats/colds) so we stayed with the boat. I went to see Dr Ursula in Mathausen. Cruise Director got us a taxi to Dr office. She saw me right away, no strep, but a viral infection. She gave me anti-inflammatories and wouldn't take a penny!!
Sort of funny story: Jan, the cruise director googled Dr in Mathausen, and all he got was Dr's that used to be at the nearby Concentration Camp......
Boat went from Mathausen - Grein, then we got off and walked around Grein..
Next day we biked from Grein - Melk, 57 km. Struggling with throat pain and runny noses. Stopped for soup for lunch at restaurant in little village.
Gerry biked around Melk, to see the big Abby.
